Awards season has officially begun, and it kicked off in style at the Golden Globes 2025. This year’s ceremony, held at the iconic Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, celebrated achievements in both film and television with unforgettable moments, history-making wins, and of course, jaw-dropping fashion on the red carpet.

This year’s big winner was Emilia Pérez. The Jacques Audiard-directed musical-comedy made history with ten nominations and walked away with four major awards, including Best Non-English Language Film, Best Film (Comedy or Musical), Best Song, and Best Supporting Actress, which went to Zoe Saldaña.
Hot on its heels was The Brutalist, Brady Corbet’s architecture epic. The film secured Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best Director (Brady Corbet), and Best Actor (Adrien Brody), beating out a stacked category including Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown) and Ralph Fiennes (Conclave).
On the TV side, The Bear led with five nominations and saw Jeremy Allen White clinch the Best Actor title. However, it was Shōgun that achieved a clean sweep with wins for Best Television Series (Drama), Best Actor (Hiroyuki Sanada), Best Actress (Anna Sawai), and Best Supporting Actor (Tadanobu Asano).
Meanwhile, Fernanda Torres delivered a surprise win over a competitive field, taking home Best Actress in a Drama Motion Picture for her performance in I’m Still Here.
Before the awards were handed out, all eyes were on the red carpet. The stars made bold style statements, proving once again that the Golden Globes are as much about fashion as they are about the accolades.
